
Overview
The Waterfront Burger Bash is a community fundraiser held in support of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month. This family friendly waterfront event is intentionally designed for individuals with developmental disabilities, their families, caregivers, and direct supporters.
The purpose of the event is to raise awareness and financial support for organizations that serve individuals with developmental disabilities while creating an enjoyable, safe, and welcoming experience tailored specifically to this community.
What to Expect
Attendees can enjoy freshly grilled burgers, fun and inclusive games, and a relaxed waterfront atmosphere. The event will also feature a large raffle with exciting prizes donated by local businesses and community partners.
All activities are designed to be accessible and inclusive, with thoughtful consideration given to creating a comfortable, engaging experience for individuals with a wide range of abilities and needs.
Local businesses, nonprofits, and community partners play an important role in making the event possible through sponsorships, participation, and volunteer support.
Please note: This event is not open to the general public. Attendance is limited to the groups listed above to ensure an inclusive, supportive, and comfortable environment for all participants.

Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are essential to the success of the Waterfront Burger Bash. Volunteer roles may include event setup and breakdown, greeting attendees, assisting with food service, supporting activity areas, and general event coordination.
No prior experience is required. Volunteers will receive instructions and role assignments prior to the event.
